PRESS RELEASE

"Dead Air" Releases Today
Long-Awaited Feature Premieres Halloween Night in Vegas, Releases Nationwide to DVD

Los Angeles, CA - October 27, 2009 - Antibody Films and Team Cherokee Productions, along with distributor Anthem Pictures, today released the long-awaited horror-thriller picture Dead Air, starring Bill Moseley and Patricia Tallman.  The film will premiere theatrically on Halloween Night as a part of Fangoria's "Trinity of Terrors" Weekend in Las Vegas, and the DVD - along with bonus gifts including an autographed mini-poster - is available for purchase at www.DeadAir-Movie.com.  The DVD will arrive on other retail shelves starting this week.

Dead Air, filmed during 2007 and 2008 and based on a script by Kenneth Yakkel, is described as The Howard Stern Show meets 28 Days Later, and follows the plight of a radio shock-jock deejay (Moseley) and his crew as a swarm of crazed maniacs races through the city outside their skyscraper office building.  The maniacs are victims of a terrorist-released bio-weapon created by the US government, but turned against American citizens.

Director Corbin Bernsen, known for his starring roles on TV's LA Law and the current USA Network series Psych, describes Dead Air as "a cautionary tale that's really not all that unrealistic.  The film's horror comes from the reality, the plausibility.  We know that many countries, including our own, are experimenting with bio-weapons.  What happens if one of these breaks loose?"

Bernsen and the Dead Air production team are actively promoting the film at a grassroots level.  The winner of a recent fan-generated poster contest will be unveiled on Halloween and posted at www.DeadAir-Movie.com, and a second contest, promised to be "even more elaborate," will be announced that night.  Bernsen will also be doing interviews for the radio-themed movie that will be broadcast on over 500 radio stations around the country starting this week.

Dead Air marks a break from the norm for horror fan-favorite Bill Moseley, who has played a variety of well-loved villains, including Chop-Top in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 and Otis in Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects.  In Dead Air, he plays the hero Logan Burnhardt, an outspoken radio personality and devoted family man.

Orders for the DVD have already begun at www.DeadAir-Movie.com.  The first 1000 orders will receive a free, signed, limited-edition Dead Air mini-poster, autographed by the director, as well as money-saving coupons, soundtrack MP3s, and more.
