Los Angeles, CA - January 19, 2007 - Antibody Films announced today its pending completion of the new independent feature film Pirate Camp, created in partnership with Providence Productions.  This is the company's first green-lighted project since its entry into the film development and production industry in May 2006.

The film stars Corbin Bernsen (L.A.  Law, Major League) as the charming but duplicitous "Hookbeard the Pirate", and child star Seth Adkins (Funky Monkey, Bad News Bears) as the young hero "Cooper Blakely," in addition to a host of young and talented supporting cast.

Pirate Camp tells the imaginative story of a group of modern kids magically transported to a buccaneer training camp run by real pirates.  The film, a full-length live-action family action feature, is raucous and heavy on laughs, featuring a cast of lovable scalawags.

Following in the footsteps of the hugely successful Pirates of the Caribbean 2, the film has already piqued much excitement those seeking more "Pirate" entertainment.

Antibody Films co-founder Chris Aronoff notes that "From the start we've seen so much enthusiasm from people - including seasoned professionals - just coming out of the woodwork to work on pirate film.  It's really capturing the zeitgeist.  There are a lot of repressed pirates out there."

Fellow producer Jesse Lawler agrees, noting that "The enthusiasm and desire to be involved with this picture has been overwhelming.  When I saw our young actors arriving to set before dawn to have more time to practice their swordfighting, I knew we were going to have something special."

Filmed in Los Angeles and on location in the Florida Keys in October and November of 2006, Pirate Camp is directed by Michael Kastenbaum, and produced by Providence Productions' Stephen Polk and Antibody Films' Jesse Lawler and Chris Aronoff.  The film, shot in high definition, will be finished to an HD master, and recorded with a full 5.1 Dolby Stereo mix.  Postproduction is expected to be completed next month.  Pirate Camp's release date has not yet been announced.
