JESSE LAWLER - Producer
Jesse Lawler is a multi-hyphenate filmmaker and award-winning creative who has been prized for achievements as far afield as chemistry, fiction writing, and multimedia programming. The son of an English professor, Lawler started writing at a young age, winning a trip to the capitol at age eight, and directing his first video by twelve, and completing his first feature film at twenty-two. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Oregon's Clark Honors College with a B.A. in Computer Science.
Lawler entered the work force as a New Media Producer for consulting firm CTSG, where web sites on which he was lead developer picked up three Webby Awards, the "Oscar of the Web." In 1999, his film Jacks won two "Best Feature" awards and screened at film festivals nationwide. His move to Los Angeles the next year was followed with the win of an IFP Screenwriters Fellowship (2001), more short films, and increasing numbers of paid gigs as a writer, director, editor, graphic designer, and producer. Early in 2006, Lawler partnered with Chris Aronoff to form Antibody Films.
In his vacation time, Lawler is a long distance cyclist and has made unsupported rides covering over 5000 miles in the U.S., New Zealand, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam.
